Jaqueline Dorothy (Hayes) Jacobson, known to friends and family as Jackie, passed away on June 18, 2024, in Norton MA at the age of 86.
Born on May 22,1938 in Boston, MA, Jackie grew up in the vibrant neighborhood of Jamaica Plain and attended Our Lady of Lourdes High School. She futured her education at Boston Clerical, which set the stage for her successful career as an office manager at Farnsworth Fiber in South Boston MA.
Jackie was loving, caring, and known for her sharp wit and creative spirit. She was a hard worker who approached life with a go getter attitude, always ready to take on new challenges. Beyond her professional life, Jackie had a deep love for reading, caring for her cats, and indulging in her favorite detective shows.
She is survived by her daughter Jae McDonald and son-in-law, Tom McDonald of Norton, MA, her daughter Kimberly Carle of Hull, MA, her granddaughters, Carly and Lane McDonald, and her sister, Geraldine Hayes of Florida. Jackie also leaves behind many loving extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eric M. Jacobson, stepson, Mark R. Carle and her parents James and Mary (Corrigan) Hayes.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Saint Agatha's Parish, 432 Adams Street, Milton, on August 14, 2024, at 10:30 am. Family and friends invited.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jackie's memory may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131,, an organization close to her heart.
Jackie's warmth, laughter, and loving presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
