Jacqueline R. (Richards) Kish of Shrewsbury, MA, formerly of Littleton, MA, died August 15, 2025 with her son holding her hand and the love of her family surrounding her. She was 93 years old. Jackie, as she was known, had a deep love for her family and a strong loyalty towards her friends. Above all, an everlasting love for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In her teens, Jackie went to beauty school in the Boston area, a talent she used throughout her life. She met her late husband, Augustine 'Whitey' Kish, at a dance in Charlestown. What followed was a marriage of 66 years and a loving family of four children. With a move to Littleton, MA, she became an active member of the community. For years, an involved member of The Congregational Church of Littleton. Known for her culinary skills, Jackie was often seen in the church kitchen. She cooked for weddings, social events and volunteered her time and skills for worthy causes. Jackie worked the morning shift at a local eatery, raising her fine reputation with each cinnamon roll. Having received her drivers license later in life, Jackie would often visit family and explore what New England had to offer. She always enjoyed a lively discussion, card or board game or a meal of any persuasion. Jackie's final decade was spent with new friends at various assisted living communities. She leaves many dear friends at her final home in Shrewsbury, MA. Jackie was the beloved wife of the late Augustine 'Whitey' Kish. Loving mother of Kevin Kish of Boston, MA, Dana (Kish) Barry and her husband Chris of Devens, MA, Mark Kish and his wife Kathryn of Auburn, MA and Augustine 'Eric' Kish and his wife Sheila of Littleton, MA. Loving grandmother to Dennis Kish and his wife Jennifer, Devin Kish, Lowell Kish and his wife Kate, Erin (Kish) DellaVolpe and husband Andrew, Dominic and Rachel (Kish) Girardi, and Brendan Kish and his expecting wife Lia. Jackie was most proud and dearly loved her 7 great grandchildren, with a great granddaughter due shortly, making the loving count 8. Jackie also dearly loved her nieces and nephews. They include the children of her late brother Gordon Richards and his wife, the late Jeannette Richards; Karen (Richards) Paulsen and her husband Glenn, Leslie (Richards) Jones and her friend Paul MacDonald and Gary Richards and the surviving children of each family. Earl Hotchkiss and Gary Hotchkiss of Ohio, the loved surviving children of the late Florence Hotchkiss, her sister-in-law. Also, to her late cousins and surviving children, whose company she always enjoyed. Jacqueline would ask that all who love her remember those less fortunate with a donation of any kind, food or cash, to the local food pantry of your choice. Interment will be held privately. The Anderson Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Rd., Ayer is assisting the family.
