Jacqueline Mayfield was a beloved parent, grandmother, sister, niece, aunt, and friend who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 67. She was born on March 5, 1957, in St Louis, MO to Kathelene Vickery and Jack Mayfield. She resided in Ore City, TX.
Jacqueline, also known to most as "Aunt Jackie," found her greatest joy in her family. She was a loving and dedicated mother to her daughters and son, Kaylie and Mya Stone, Ashley Kirkbride and Randal Howard. Her grandson, Sawyer Jack Stone, brought her immense happiness. She cherished every moment spent with them.
In addition to her immediate family, Jackie had a special bond with her nieces and nephews. She was a beloved aunt to Jessica and Jody Birdwell and their children Hunter and Kaylee Veazey, Amber, and Jayden Birdwell, as well as Heather and Jeff Maxie and their children Destiny Reynolds, William, Misti, and Maryann Reynolds. Katherine and Kevin Ballard and their children Tyler Jack and Kaylee. John and Tracy Whittler and their children Megan, Sophia, and Cash. Along with Carl Joe Ferguson. Wavah Zenter, Dreama Mayfield, and Andrew. Jackie also shared close relationships with her nieces and nephews, James and Christie Mayfield and their children Kj, Ashlyn, and Gavin. Kat Deitzel and Justin Mann, along with their children Majara, Bentleigh, Niah, Jayden, and Zaidon. Jasmine Mayfield, April Downs and Skyler Harris, and their children Aliyah, Jayce, and Khaison. As well as Victoria Thomas and her daughter Presleigh. She held a special place in her heart for each and every one of her nieces and nephews.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Ronald and John Mayfield, brother in laws, Leonard Veazey and Charles Hickman, and her daugher Juanita “Scooter” Ragan.
She is survived by her sisters Margaret Strout and husband Moe Strout, Annie Veazey, and Thresa Mayfield. Her aunt Doris Pieratt and children Donna Pieratt Sustaire, Kelli Pieratt Smith, and Karen Tutt. Along with her lifelong best friend Kathy Phillips.
She will forever be remembered for her unwavering love and devotion to her family. Jackie’s presence will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A private memorial service will be held to celebrate Jackie’s life. The family kindly requests that all flowers be sent to 510 Impala St. in Ore City, Texas 75683.
