Jacqueline "Jackie" H. Neil, 91, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Monday afternoon, January 6th, 2025 at Arden Courts of Susquehanna, Harrisburg. Born in Lebanon on February 11, 1933, Jackie was a daughter of the late Catherine M. White. She attended Lebanon Catholic High School. Jackie worked at various sewing factories before settling down with her beloved husband Edward "Neil" R. Neil to raise her beautiful family. As she liked to say "I was happy and content to live a simple life". Jackie and Ed celebrated 42 years of marriage before his passing in 1998. After this time, Jackie continued to enjoy spending time with her family and friends, shopping at her favorite local thrift stores, playing checkers, doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles, reading a good book, and going out to eat. However the thing she cherished the most was time spent with her two granddaughters. In addition to her mother and husband Jackie was preceded in death by her sister, Lorraine T. Stegman; and granddaughter, Nicole R. Neil. She leaves behind to cherish her memory two sons, Bradley S. Neil and his wife Lisa, Harrisburg, and Michael E. Neil, Lebanon; a daughter Michelle A. Ritter and her husband Richard, Ephrata; two granddaughters, Jenna R. Youngblood and her husband William, Harrisburg, and Megan N. Tenaglia-Neil and her wife Sophia, Brookhaven, PA; a niece Denise S. Kimmel and her husband Tom, Lebanon; and a great-niece Lorra Kimmel, Lebanon. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 18, from 12:30-1:00pm followed by a memorial service at 1:00pm at Christman's Funeral Home Inc., 226 Cumberland St., Lebanon, with the Rev. Frank Terhune officiating. Interment will be held privately at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
