Jacqueline Rae Patterson, 81, of Topeka passed away on April 2, 2025. She was born December 4, 1943 in Topeka the daughter of Dillon and Ida Bowman Winslow. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1961.

Jacqueline stayed home with the kids and operated a licensed day care until her youngest child went off to school. She worked for over 30 years in the banking business before retiring in 2012.

Jacqueline and Bill attended St. John’s Lutheran Church until moving north of Topeka at which time they joined Calvary Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to kids and grandkids sporting events, working in her flower garden. Springtime was her favorite time of year. She had a love of animals, cats, dogs, donkeys and horses.

On July 16, 1961 she was married to William Patterson in Alma, Kansas, they were blessed to be able to spend nearly 64 years together.

Survivors include her husband William Patterson of Topeka; children, Kimberly Thomson and husband George of St. Joseph, Missouri, Lisa Jeanneret and husband Ron of Topeka, William Patterson of Topeka and Derek Patterson of Smithville, Missouri; 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Brittani and Chad Jeanneret.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Topeka. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 Wednesday morning, Apr. 9th prior to the service.
