Aleen Susan "Susie" Johnson, 70, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026.

Susie was born on January 10, 1956, in Cocoa Beach, Florida, to her parents, Mary Emma (Savage) Holden and Burah Lee Holden. She grew up alongside her sisters, Rebecca "Becky" Holden and Brenda (Kehler) Holden. Remembered for her kind and gentle spirit, Susie was a deeply loving and creative soul with a talent for artistry.

After a dedicated career of over 20 years at Blue Cross Blue Shield, Susie retired to enjoy precious time with her family and her adored dog, Pippa.

She is now reunited with her beloved husband, James Johnson; her parents, Mary and Burah Holden; her mother-in-law, Barbara Johnson; and her dear nephew, Joshua Holden-Womack.

Susie's memory will be cherished and kept alive by her loving family. She is survived by her children, Nicholas Johnson and his wife Jessica, along with Jamie Edwards and her husband Jacob; her grandchildren, Zoey Johnson, Kayson Johnson, Ryan Johnson, Rylee Edwards, and River Edwards; her sisters, Rebecca and Brenda; and her brothers-in-law, Harold and Johnny Johnson. She also leaves behind her nieces, Amanda Koener and Grace Piper, and her nephews, Travis Kehler, Brooks Holden, and Harold Johnson IV.

We are deeply saddened by her loss but find comfort in knowing she is now at peace, free from pain and suffering. Her beautiful spirit will be remembered forever.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Oak Creek Senior Care Center and St. Croix Hospice for the exceptional care and kindness they provided to Susie and her family.
