Elizabeth Andreas Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Angels Above Cremation Services on Mar. 12, 2026.
Elizabeth Lou Andreas, born May 28, 1952, in Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully
on January 19, 2026.

Elizabeth was born Elizabeth Lou Collins to Henry Collins and Bernice Collins, both of whom
preceded her in death. She was a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area.

Elizabeth read her Bible regularly and was a devoted believer in Christ. Her faith was an
important part of her life and a source of strength and comfort to her and those around her.
Her family was her pride and joy, and she will be remembered for her kind heart, her quiet
strength, her deep love for her children and grandchildren, and her unwavering faith.

She is survived by her son, Richard Andreas; her daughter, Jennifer Ortiz; and her three
cherished grandchildren, Duncan, Lauren, and Ellison. She is also survived by her brothers,
Ray Collins and Wayne Collins. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Collins, and
her parents, Henry and Bernice Collins.

A memorial service is being planned around her birthday on May 28.

"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to
prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that
where I am, there ye may be also."
- John 14:1-3
