Jacqueline Dora Pearson

Jacqueline (Jackie) Dora Pichon Pearson was born on November 2, 1945, in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Charles Pichon Jr., and the late Eunice Anderson Pearson who she cared for until their deaths.
Jacqueline moved to Pointe Coupee Parish in 1983, where she immersed herself into the community and to her church, Little Rock Baptist Church in Morganza, Louisiana. Jacqueline faithfully served as Mother of the church, Senior Deaconess and Usher. Jacqueline became the Matriarch of her family in 1987, when her mother Eunice passed and she served them well, until her illness became serious. Jacqueline was a founding member of "Femme de Dieu" and in 2015 the organization established "The Jacqueline Pichon Pearson Scholarship Fund" in her honor.
Jacqueline was a dedicated homemaker and the devoted wife of the late Roosevelt Pearson, Sr. Jacqueline was the mother of Troy (Troylette) Pichon, Sr., Dana Pichon and Roosevelt Pearson, Jr. Jacqueline was the grandmother of Troy Pichon, Jr. Troyana Pichon, Roosevelt Pearson III, Morgan Duplechan. Jacqueline beloved dog COCO preceded her in death, and she was the grandmother of four felines: Porkchop, Keanu, Gravy and Nala.
Jacqueline was the fourth child of nine children: One sister: the late Joan Pichon Adams and (7) brothers: the late Forist Embry Sr., Ulyss (Victoria) Pichon (who were consistently at her bedside until she passed), Chester Pichon, Sr., and the late Wellinton Pichon. Jacqueline sisters-in-law, Willie-Ann Bullock, Ella Young, Rachael Howard, Joy Williams, and Rhonda Pichon.
Jacqueline was Godmother to Vanessa Ralph, Toni North, Antonio Camel, Ciera Lea and Jaliah Howard. Jacqueline close friends are Alice Rose Richard, Anna Moore and Betty Ruth McGuffie. Jacqueline held a special place in her heart for Demetris Dupard, Jovone Young, Gerrad Franklin, Kiah Ford, Dylan Davis, Christina Oliver and James Hunter, Jr.
Jacqueline will be missed by Family, Friends, Neighbors, Community members and Church members of the Little Rock Baptist Church!
