Jacqueline L. Proud of Norristown passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 30, 2025. She was 75 years old. Born in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late John Oliver and Adeline (Gentile) Bean and loving wife of David M. Proud.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her beloved daughter, Rebecca Moran, wife of Raymond Moran, Jr., of Glenmoore; sister, Theresa McIntyre, wife of the late Brooke McIntyre; two nieces, Heather Deyo and Melissa McIntyre; and one great niece, Brooklyn Higgins.
Jacqueline was a graduate of Norristown High School and worked as a kitchen manager for Radnor Middle School. She also worked for Vanguard where she met her husband of 32 years. She loved bingo, baking, shopping, knitting, and spending time down the shore. She loved her family more than anything and cared for everyone in her circle.
Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral Mass on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 11am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 601 Buttonwood Street, Norristown, PA 19401. A visitation with the family will precede Mass from 10am to 10:50am in church. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jacqueline's name are requested to the American Cancer Society: https://www.cancer.org/donate
