As our home is silent & still with no ball squeaking, no one to say to I can't hear the T.V., Hope brought the noise to our home and we enjoyed it, once it's gone it's gone forever.
Today we said goodbye to our beloved sweet girl. Our hearts are heavy as we remember Hope today. She was beyond the perfect angel, so much more than we could ever imagine. Hope never met anyone she didn't love, she was so full of life, and was a faithful friend and loyal companion who brought endless love and joy into our lives when we needed to fill a hole in our hearts; boy did she do just that. She brought us laughter, hope and unconditional love; she took away our loneliness that we were feeling from a loss. She wouldn't let you sit around without playing with her. Hope loved her balls and toys right up to the end of her life. You never saw her without a ball in her mouth. She played ball all day long and she loved sitting on the porch with her Sissy watching everybody go by. She enjoyed shopping. Going to the Tractor Supply store was her favorite store, she would never leave without a ball or toy. Her nephew counted her balls two years ago and she had 117. It's tripled since then. She would never let you give any toys away.
Her Mommy always cooked her and her Sissy home cooked meals; boy did she love meal time. After every meal Hope would wash her face with her paws. She would always sit on her hind legs and beg for whatever she wanted, and she loved neck and belly rubs. She made a spot behind the couch where she would go for peace and hide her balls and things. Whenever we took her in a store you couldn't get any shopping done because everyone would have to stop and talk to her.
One of Hope's best things in life was the UPS man bringing a package. If it was a Chewy's box she would go crazy until you opened it up. Every box that came to her home she thought it was for her and she was always dying to open it up to see what was inside. Christmas day was also a joy to watch her and her sister open every gift up.
She loved her aunt Terry, even to just listen to her on the phone. As you can tell, Hope was our life and our home will never be the same without her.
Our lives will never be the same without you here to share our days with.
Love forever and ever, Mommy & Sissy.
