Jacqueline Sanchez Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Tabor Funeral Home and Cremation Services - Brighton on Dec. 30, 2025.
J acqueline Mary Sanchez "Jackie" age 77 was born on July 19th, 1948, in Denver, Colorado to Nikki Escudero and Ambrose Vigil. After high school Jackie worked for Safeway, in accounts payable for over 35 years until retirement. Jackie was married to Fernando Real Vasquez, and they spent 32 cherished years by each other's side until his passing.

Jackie loved spending time with her family. She was always smiling and laughing. She shared many hugs with her loved ones and with everyone she met. She especially loved spending as much time as possible with her great nephews. They brought much joy to her, and she referred to them as her "little buddies ". Jackie loved to dance and enjoy music in her younger years and would still do so when she was free of pain.

Jackie enjoyed spending time at the casino. On Sunday mornings she enjoyed a good bowl of menudo, and she was crazy about her beloved Denver Broncos.

Jackie spent a lot of time praying the rosary and above all and anything else, Jackie loved the Lord.

Jackie is survived by her two children, Ray Gonzales and Brynn Mondragon. Her siblings, Frank Vigil, Daniel Vigil, Mike Vigil, Tomas Vigil and sister in law, Rosa Solis. Along with many other friends and family members, such as her niece and nephew, Marie and Alejandro Covarrubias, whom she lived with in her final years of life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Fernando Vasquez. By her parents, Ambrose Vigil and Nickie Rodriguez. Her brother, Ambrose Vigil Jr and sister, Laura Orecchi. Jackie will greatly be missed by all.
