Jacqueline Tibbs Obituary
Jacqueline (Menefee) Tibbs died May 28, 2009, at Culpeper Regional Hospital. She was born August 27, 1953, in Culpeper, Va. to Clifford H. Menefee, Sr. and Betty Hart Menefee of Culpeper, Va.
She is survived by her loving husband, Eugene R. Tibbs; her mother, Betty and her husband, Lynn Hill; step-mother, Virginia Menefee; two sons, Sterling R. Woodward and Shawn O. Menefee and friend, Nova Tinder; two daughters, Shelly Rhoades and her husband Timothy, Pamela Strother and her husband Timothy; five brothers, Leroy and his wife Paula, Tommy, Ricky, Michael, Walter; four sisters, Barbara and her husband Joe Dunn, Beverly Smoot, Chathan Smoot, Betty and her husband Eric Kinney; six brother-in-laws; nine sister- in-laws; one aunt, Elizabeth; ten grandchildren, Demetrick, Shantel, P.J., Jordan, Kendall, Jermiah, Jaquiera, India, Kaden and Daivon; a host of nieces and nephews and two special friends Shelia Richards and Melissa Greer.
She is preceded in death by her father, Clifford Sr.; brother, Clifford, Jr.; Uncle Hubert and his wife, Dora Jackson and one son, Mark.
The family will receive visitors on Monday, June 1, 2009 at Horizon Funeral Home, from 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 3 p.m. at Horizon Funeral Home. A private interment will take place with immediate family. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home. Horizon Funeral Home of 750 Old Brandy Road, Culpeper.

Jackie's pleasant nature, caring spirit and friendly smile will be greatly missed in the old neighborhood.
Remember to look to the Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit of God for the peace and comfort that He has promised. May the joy of the Lord be your strength. We are praying for special blessings for the Tibbs and Menefee families.
