Jacqueline Faye Wilson, 62, of Kingsport, TN, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 25th, 2024.
Jackie, as known by her friends and family, was born on May 28, 1961, in Pennington Gap, VA to Jay & Dora Rash. She was the youngest daughter of 10 children. She attended Weber City First Baptist Church and was highly involved in their youth programs. She loved teaching children about God. She enjoyed playing golf, pickle ball, working out, hiking with her dog, Rocky, and spending as much time as possible with her granddaughters and family. Jackie was a kind, caring, and prayerful woman who remained strong in her faith.
Jackie, along with the father of their only child, Jerry Wilson, raised one son, Jesse, that they are very proud of. He and his wife, Stacie, of Duffield, VA, have 2 beloved daughters, Brooklyn and Brynlee, and one son due to be born this July. Mammaw Jackie loved her granddaughters deeply and never hesitated to express how proud she was of them.
Jackie is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wilson, parents, Jay and Dora Rash, brothers Edward Rash and Jake Rash, sisters Brenda Johnson, Barbara Martin, Mary Williams, Reba Cottrel, and Linda Rash.
Jackie leaves behind her son, Jesse, her daughter-in-law, Stacie, her 2 granddaughters, Brooklyn and Brynlee, and her future grandson.
Jackie is also survived by her sister, Margaret Crusenberry and husband, Richard, of Pennington Gap, VA, brother, Kenneth Rash of Jonesville, VA, two special nieces: Edwinna Johnson of Gate City, VA and Crystal Hensley of Jonesville, VA, along with several nieces, nephews, family, and beloved friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 30th, 2024, from 5-7PM at Pennington Gap Funeral Home in Pennington Gap, VA. The funeral services will be conducted at 7PM with Pastor Paul Davis, Jr. officiating.
The burial service will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, in the Wilson Family Cemetery, at 11AM. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 AM to travel in procession. Pall bearers will be family and friends.
Jackie and her family are in the care of Pennington Gap Funeral Home.
