We learned just this morning of Jackie´s passing, and wish to offer our condolences to the family. Jackie was a life-giving presence for our neighborhood as well as her family. We hardly ever saw Jackie without a smile on her face and a proud story to tell of her family. Such a kind and loving soul. May she rest in the peace that only the Lord can give.

It was an honor to have known Mrs. Carmichael several years ago while she was at Via. I always loved her many stories that she told. She has certainly been missed. She was such a special person for me to have known.
