Jacquelyn L. "Jackie" Larson

Jacquelyn "Jackie" Lou Larson of North Branch, Minnesota, age 95, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Fairview Hospital in Wyoming Minnesota.
Jackie was born to William and Ellen Rusch on September 30, 1930 in Duluth, Minnesota. She and her brothers, Richard, William, and Kenton, grew up in Duluth.
In 1951, Jackie married Henry Warren Larson in Duluth, and they moved to St. Paul shortly after. They raised four children, Barbara (Jesse) Colbert, Steven (Beverly), James (Emily), and Michael (DeeAnn) in Roseville. Once the children were grown, Jackie and Warren lived in Grand Rapids and then Princeton before settling in North Branch, where she made many close friends.
Jackie's faith was a very large part of her life. Her faith journey began in Roseville and continued on in North Branch where she spent much of her life. She proudly led Stephen Ministry at Main Street Methodist Church and provided meaningful support to many. She became a lay pastor and traveled locally to preach as well. Apart from her involvement at church, Jackie was instrumental in the construction of the North Branch Library and was heavily involved in volunteer work with the Friends of the Library.
Jackie loved to spend time in her craft and sewing room where she made dozens of stuffed animals, clothes for her grandchildren, quilts, and endless other projects. She also enjoyed reading immensely and was always in the middle of finishing another book. She adored her grandchildren, and together they baked many sweet treats over the years.
Jackie is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brothers. She is survived by her children; grandchildren, Zachary (Kevin), Christopher (Jenn), Matthew (Molly), Rebecca (David), Hannah, and Kendra; great-grandson, Finn; extended family; and many friends.
A private family service and burial will be held. Jackie prefers any memorials be delivered to the organization of the donor's choice.
