Jacquelyn Haynes Obituary

Haynes, Jacquelyn Bosley
July 8, 1957 - April 12, 2022

Jacquelynn (Jacky) Bosley Haynes, born July 8, 1957, in Lansing, Michigan, died peacefully on April 12th in Castle Pines, Colorado at age 64. She was a cherished wife, daughter, sister, niece, aunt, and friend. She was a woman of strong character who moved through life constantly displaying kindness, generosity, grace, and a quick wit. Determination and courage coupled with a keen focus drove her to the success she sought and ultimately enjoyed.
Jacky graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1981 with a degree in Industrial Engineering and Duke University's Fuqua School of Business with an MBA in 1986. She began her career with IBM in Research Triangle Park, NC as a junior engineer in Inventory Control and Forecasting. In 2000, she was invited to interview with a small fruit company and subse-quently enjoyed a longtime career with Apple. Jacky's tenure began as Sen-ior Director in the Business Processes & Systems department which in-volved the management of major business and system initiatives for supply chain, technical support/service, and sales functions. She moved into a role as Senior Director of Customer Service. Then, she tried retirement but re-turned for her final 10 years as a Social and Environmental Responsibility Executive. Everywhere Jacky focused, she made a meaningful impact, both personally and professionally.
She was a seasoned traveler, exploring all corners of the globe during her career. She fell in love with Paris and returned numerous times, often with family and friends in tow. Jacky settled in Colorado and appreciated the beauty of nature that surrounded her. She particularly delighted in her time spent in Breckenridge on the slopes. The family's annual trip to Destin, FL for the Thanksgiving holiday was a sacred time. Nothing interfered with her journey to the coast for time spent with her family - basking in the serenity of the beach, participating in the construction of the current jigsaw puzzle, and gathering together for appetizers on the porch to witness the day's sun-set were favorites. An avid sports fan, Jacky could score a baseball play as proficiently as any Caray in the business - a skill she learned as a young girl from her dad. She traveled across the country to attend football games, including a couple college national championship games. War Eagle. Jacky's alternate career would have been as a sports analyst, and she would have blown away the competition!
She was predeceased by her beloved father, Malcolm Lawrence Bosley. She is survived by her mother, Joyce BeVier Bosley of Huntsville, AL, the love of her life, John Hardin of Castle Pines, CO, and siblings, Pamela Bosley Thomason (Scott), Larry Bosley (Teri), Mark Bosley (Cassie), and Jennifer Bosley McCluskey (Scottie). Jacky was a dear aunt to Nathan Thomason (Angela), Elizabeth Thomason Wightman (James), Stephen Bosley (Jessi-ca), Jason Bosley (Whitney), Brenton Bicknell, Kayleigh Bicknell, Anna Katherine Bicknell, Kellan Bosley, and Joshua Bosley.
John wishes to thank the extensive teams at Stanford Health Care in Stan-ford, CA and UCHealth in Denver, CO for their outstanding care and com-passion.
In lieu of flowers, please honor Jacky's love of philanthropy by directing a donation to your local Habitat for Humanity.
