Jacque Anthony Dugas, 55, of Houma, Louisiana, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 5, 2026. Born on January 21, 1971, in Arnaudville, Louisiana, Jacque was the son of Nathan Broussard and Mary Jane Dugas.
Jacque was a kind and generous soul, someone who never hesitated to help anyone in need. He was a dreamer at heart—always imagining big plans and believing in the possibilities ahead. His love for music, fishing, and spending time with family and friends shaped the rhythm of his life. Those who knew him will remember how he could brighten even the hardest days with his humor, warmth, and unmistakable quirky charm.
Jacque is survived by his daughter, Cortney Aaron; his grandsons, Colton Aaron, Waylon Aaron, and Kayden Aaron; his brother, Joe Heard; and many extended family members and friends who were blessed by his presence.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Dugas; his father, Nathan Broussard; his brother, Keith Dugas; his granddaughter, Kensley Aaron; and his nephew, Tristin Dugas.
Jacque’s memory will live on in the stories shared, the laughter he inspired, and the love he gave so freely.
