Diane Cooper, 77, of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026. She was born on November 20, 1948.
Diane lived a life centered around family, kindness, and caring for others. She worked for many years as a dietary manager, where she found great joy in serving and caring for the elderly. Her compassion and dedication touched the lives of many people throughout her career.
At home, Diane enjoyed the simple things in life. She loved starting her day with a good cup of coffee while playing games on her phone and could often be found relaxing while watching her favorite programs on the Game Show Network. Diane had a warm heart and a welcoming spirit, and she made everyone around her feel like family.
She is survived by her loving life partner, Tommy Peavy; her children, Elizabeth Gaynor (Mike) and Lori Deal; and her grandchildren, Kristal Cook (Jamey), Aaron Gaynor (Lauren), Shelby Snyder (Ashley), Autumn Burbank (Cameron), and Timothy Deal.
She also leaves behind her cherished great-grandchildren, Harper Snyder, Jaxson Moreno, Mitchell Snyder, and Kayten Moreno, along with numerous children and grandchildren she lovingly claimed as her own.
Diane will be remembered for her kindness, her sense of humor, and the love she shared with so many. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends who will miss her deeply.
A memorial service to celebrate Diane’s life will be held on March 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Auld’s Funeral Home in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Diane’s love, warmth, and gentle spirit will never be forgotten.
