Jacqulin Dean Striegel

Jacqulin Dean Striegel, 39, New Albany, IN passed away in the morning of Monday, May 6th, 2024. She was born on August 31st, 1984 in New Albany, IN to Tamara Striegel and Jeffrey Barger. Jacqulin worked as an LPN, and like many others in her profession, she always put others first. She was a devout Christian that treasured her close relationship with God.
Jacqulin gained serenity by playing her guitar and would often go down by the river to play. Sublime was the soundtrack to her life, and she loved every single song like they were each her favorite. Jacqulin was known for her constant daily acts of kindness towards others. If you knew her, or you didn't, it wouldn't make a difference. She would give you anything she had and do anything you needed done, even if you didn't ask her. She enjoyed mowing grass and had an almost obscene love of vacuums. Jacqulin was many things to many people, but her proudest title was mom.
Jacqulin was preceded in death by; grandparents, Harold and Dorothy Striegel; uncle, Bret Striegel; and step-father, Marshall Bouvier.
Left to cherish her memory; daughters, Ava Meuschke and Lucy Seacat; mother, Tamara Striegel; father, Jeffrey Barger; brother, Jade Bouvier (Kerry); niece, Penelope Bouvier; nephew, Murphy Bouvier; aunts, Katrina Striegel and Pam Stevens (Mark); uncle, Wyatt Striegel, and her best friend and beloved dog, Nugget Striegel.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Market Street Chapel of the Naville & Seabrook Funeral Home on Monday, May 13th from 12 PM – 2 PM with the Memorial Service to begin at 2 PM.
Expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of donations to St. Elizabeth Catholic Charities or the New Albany/Floyd County Animal Shelter.
