Jad Katbeh, 87, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born on April 8, 1938, in Nabek, Syria, to the late Abdo and Salimeh Katbeh.
Jadallah was a man of deep faith who served as an Elder at the Tripoli Presbyterian Church in Lebanon. He dedicated 55 years of his life working as a medical laboratory technologist in Lebanon, faithfully serving others through his work in the medical field. He also enjoyed woodworking and building things with his hands. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Dora Hanania of Jonesboro; his son, Wissam Katbeh (Rouba) of Texas; his daughter, Sally Katbeh (Dr. Tony Slieman) of Jonesboro; and his grandchildren, Jad and Andrew of Texas, Adel and Souryana of Jonesboro.
A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Jonesboro at a later date. Burial will be private.
