Jade Landon Jones was born August 25th 1986 in Burley, Idaho and left this earth much too early with his passing on April 28th, 2025 in Meridian, Idaho.

He spent most of his childhood living in the Raft River and Declo area and he enjoyed a life in the country filled with lots of outside play, learning a bit about farming and gained a love of dirt bikes. He worked for his first dirt bike and fixed it up with his Dad when he was just 8 years old, a family tradition he later shared with his wife and daughters.

His family eventually moved to Burley where Jade completed school and graduated from Burley High in 2005, after which he quickly joined the Bureau of Land Management as a wild land firefighter. From a young age, Jade learned his Father's trade in mechanics and knew early on that would be his career path. He was accepted to Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix Arizona and he and his high school sweetheart SaVanna moved there in late 2005. Jade excelled in school and consistently achieved "Student of the Phase" awards and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. The two returned to Idaho in 2007 where he began his job as an Automotive Service Technician for Peterson Chevrolet of Boise.

Jade and SaVanna (Zanone) were married in August of 2008 and welcomed their first baby girl, India Jade Jones, the following year and their second baby girl, Oakli Landon Jones, in 2012. Their family was later completed with the arrival of their third baby girl, Emree Kristine Jones, in 2022.

Over the years, Jade very much enjoyed family camping trips, dirt bike adventures with many friends, a good game of golf and was always up for whatever home improvement projects SaVanna threw his way. Some of their star projects included the painting of their new home, the camp trailer renovation and the play structure for the girls.

Jade worked hard at his trade and in 2014 he joined the Ada County Sheriff's Office as an Automotive Technician and was promoted to Vehicle Fleet Manager in 2021. Jade was very accomplished and he completed several trainings including becoming an ASE Certified Master Technician, International Association of Chiefs of Police-Leadership in Police Organizations Course and a STAR-ACSO Leadership Course to name a few, although he was never boastful about his accomplishments they were apparent in his work and to those who knew him. Jade maintained an impeccable record of work ethic and integrity and frequently went above and beyond his job description to serve others. He took the ACSO mission statement seriously and carried the weight of what it meant to serve his community in that way. Jade was often reserved and truly unaware of the value he carried and the impact that he had on those around him.. He was deeply loved and respected by so many and received several "kudos" and kind comments from many who worked with him and called him friend.

His unexpected death leaves a deep void in all of our hearts and the lives of those he leaves behind. The family takes great comfort in knowing that he gave his heart to the Lord and his spirit is at peace in God's Kingdom.

Jade is survived by his wife, SaVanna Jones; his children: India Jones, Oakli Jones and Emree Jones; his parents, Dennis and Jeanna Jones; and his siblings, Jamee Garrard, Heather Gergens, Chase Jones and Shayla Jones

A memorial service will be held in Jade's honor for family and close friends at 4:00 pm, Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at Foothills Christian Church, 9655 W. State St., Garden City, with a public open house to follow from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm, a light meal will be served.
