Jade Nicole Simmons

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our beautiful Jade Nicole Simmons. Jade was called to her heavenly home on Monday, April 15, 2024, at the young age of 15. Jade is the beloved daughter of Danielle Simmons, James McCarty, and Jason Simmons SR. Cherished sister of Evan, JJ, Roland, Connor, Olivia, Aiden, Damien, and Sam. Granddaughter of Donna Meister, Candace and Shawn Schnee, and Sara LaRock. Great granddaughter of Dale Meister SR. Niece to Taylor and Adam Valenzuela, Andrew McCarty, Steven McCarty, Hunter Schnee, Tia Brinkman and Amandah Simmons. Great Niece of Cheri and Mike Hogue, Randy Newman, Kelly Meister, Jason and Michelle Meister, and Jami Baker-Coleman. Jade had many cousins and many friends whom she loved dearly.

Jade is proceeded by her Great grandmother Nancy Newman, Great grandfather Donald Newman, Great grandmother Dorothy Baker, and her cousin Michael Hogue.

Jade was born on March 25, 2009 in Cincinnati, Ohio and she was a firecracker from the moment she entered this world. She had the most gorgeous green eyes, beautiful red hair, the prettiest smile, and the loudest personality. Everyone stopped what they were doing when Jade entered the room. 

Gifted with a beautiful voice, Jade sang in her school’s choir, in the car, at home, and pretty much everywhere that she went. She was very talented and could write and sing her own songs. She had a solo in the Fairfield City School show choir and her family loved going and watching her perform.

Jade could always make you laugh and no matter what she was going through, she cared more about what others were going through more than she cared about herself. She had something positive to say about every person she met. She would compliment you before she even knew your name. We have lost the brightest light in our lives, and we are going to miss her beyond measure.

Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., OH 45044, on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 4 PM until 8 PM and Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12 Noon with the Funeral Service beginning at 12 Noon.
