With broken hearts the family wishes to announce that Jade Volesky of Estevan, SK passed away at the Regina General Hospital during surgery to repair an aortic dissection on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at the age of 37 years. ND, passed away on June 3, 2025.
Funeral service for Jade Volesky, 37, of Estevan Saskatchewan Canada, formerly of Dickinson, will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2025 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Dickinson with Pastor Tyler Doohen officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Dickinson.
Visitation for Jade will take place one hour prior to the service. Burial to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Jade was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ed Volesky and Leroy Steen; aunt Lorna Goebel; uncle John Manolovits and cousins, Alexis and Dalton.
Jade leaves an emptiness with his mom Toni (Steve) Halvorson; father Kurt Volesky; dad Brian Johnson; brothers, Aaron (Lindsey) Volesky, Dane (Olyanna) Volesky, Shay (Leanne) Volesky and bonus brother Mark (Mandy) Halvorson. His memory will remain with his nieces and nephews, Breka Volesky, Brityn (Jake) Bergstrom [Archer], Bjella Volesky, Boston, Bennet, Blake, Blaire and Belen Volesky, Brigitta and Banks Volesky, Mayanna Volesky, Saige Christenson [Scarlet], Mason Christenson and Hunter and Lincoln Volesky; grandparents, Irene Volesky and Donna and Oscar Ronning and his special God mother Denise Steen. Many memories will be cherished by his 22 aunts and uncles, countless cousins and friends too numerous to mention.
A Celebration of Jade's Life will take place on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at the Days Inn Plaza, Estevan, SK with Carmella Backlun presiding. A time of lunch and socializing will follow.
