We realize that we are very late to express our deepest condolences, but we wanted to let your family and friends know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this week and several of these will be dedicated to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo and hometown of Jaime L. Campbell US Army 1st Lieutenant.
We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals from across the American youth hockey community, their families and friends and others who support our mission.
We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you safe and strong.
Sincerely,

Jaime would have been 40 years old tomorrow, 6/14/2020. Her mother and I think of her a lot. We talk about what if and what she would all be doing now. She is missed and loved so much. Miki got flowers to put on her grave tomorrow and I will put her 3X5 flag up to fly over her as well. We miss and Love you much.

Yesterday was Memorial Day. Miki and I dedicate this day to honor Jaime's life and the memories she has left us with. We stared the day at Jaime's grave and putting a flag there to fly over her. We put flowers there as well. We then went to the High School Rodeo finals and awards ceremony. We were honored to hand out the horsemanship award "A very nice horse blanket with beautiful leather work done by Mary Lynn Duncan" to the winning queen contestant. Jaime loved the horsemanship competition. She was a natural on a horse. When we got back we got the flag off her grave. Other people had left flowers as well. It is amazing how many people remember and think of her often. She will always be in our hearts. Love Mom and Dad

I cannot believe we are coming upon 13 years already. I will never forget the feeling I had when I received the news. It seems like yesterday that Marcus called me. We were about to mobilize and head to Iraq as well. Then on January 20th, 2007 AR lost a blackhawk too. (Easy 40)
I continually share with fellow pilots what a great pilot that you were. It was a blessing to meet you and Sam, and an honor to meet your family. Thanks for always inviting stragglers from our class, out to dinner with you and Sam. Our class shared a lot of laughs at Ruby Tuesdays. Oh, and our class picture is still hanging up in the UH-60 academics building at Fort Rucker. Thanks for the kindness you always displayed, and the encouragement you always had. Thanks for making us study, and challenging us to do better. Most of all, thanks for your sacrifice. I assure you that everyone from our class feels the same, and I'm sure you are flying the best of the best in heaven.

It has been a little over 10 years that Jaime has passed. It is still very hard to deal with. The Grand Kids know her well and we talk about her greatness. She has a niece that is trying to follow in her footsteps and wants to be a rodeo queen. Her niece is working very hard at working with her horse and her events. Jaime has made a big influence in her life. Jaime lives on and will always be remembered and never forgotten.
Love you forever

I had the honor to carry the banner of 1st Lt. Jaime L. Campbell in the Tacoma Daffodil Parade this weekend. My family was walking for my nephew and while we were waiting, we were asked if we would be willing to carry other banners. When I saw your daughters, I asked if I could have the honor. When we got home, I looked up her name hoping I would find a Legacy page and could let you know.
I am sorry for your loss and thank you for your service.

Truly sorry for the loss of 1LT Campbell and her team. Having flown this route many times, I was aware of how quickly the visibility can degrade and the potential results.
The loss of any service member is difficult and we who serve owe their memory and sacrifice, the commitment to continually improve and elevate our awareness and professionalism. For LT Campbell and those like her, your fellow warrior aviators will continue the mission and represent your sacrifice and all those we love with dignity, discipline and honor.
Rest in Peace, LT.

To all of you who have left such kind words for my wife, our family, and myself, I'm deeply touched and I wish to thank you all. Jaime was an amazing person, an extraordinary officer, a wonderful wife. Because of this, a huge part of me disappeared the day she died, and I never thought it would return. In many ways I believed that part was her's and I didn't want it back, because it would always keep me close to her. Over these past few years, I have found the hole in my heart, from her loss, has begun to heal and is filled with humble pride and happiness through realizing the impact she continues to make on me. She will have always made me a better man for being my wife, and for that I will love her always and forever. May God bless all who have served and those who continue to do so. Sam

The Other Side
i'm over on the other side
where life and death softly divide.
left my skin and bones behind
now i'm over on the other side.
can you feel me there with you?
my breath is gone but i'm not through.
loved you then and i still do
from over on the other side.
i can fly. really fly.
below the earth ... all through the sky.
tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side.
it's good here on the other side.
the sweetest songs...the bluest skies.
thank you for the tears you cried
but it's good here on the other side.
i can fly. really fly. below the earth...all through the sky.
tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side
the world is smaller than a needle's eye.
where life and death softly divide.
when you leave your skin and bones behind
i'll be waiting on the other side.
i can fly. really fly. below the earth ... all through the sky.
go tell em all i did not die.
i'm just over on the other side.

There is nothing that I can say or do to take away the pain or bring you peace in your time of sorrow, but I will offer you and your family my heart felt condolences. I also offer you my prayers that in time the pain will easy and the memories of your HERO will carry you through each day and night. I want to thank your HERO, for his/her selfless act of becoming a member of the armed forces, his/her willingness to defend the United States of America, all that we hold sacred and for the sacrifice that will forever be etched in the memories of all those who knew him/her. Though tears can never bring him/her back, we hope that our tears express our gratitude for the sacrifice that he/she made and our sorrow at his/her passing. I believe for every fallen HERO there is a star shining brightly up above to remind us of the precious gift we were given.
Your mission on earth is complete and you are now a member of GOD’s Heavenly armed forces. Stand down brave warrior and take your rightful place in Heaven with all the HEROES who have passed before.
I made a special promise to LE RON A. WILSON, a dear family friend who joined the Army with three other friends, one of whom is my son (Le Ron was killed in action on 07/06/07 at the age of 18) on the day he was laid to rest as I touched his coffin, that I would never forget him nor would I forget those that gave their lives for our country before him, with him and after him and so when I came across www.legacy.com, I thought what a great way to keep my promise to Le Ron, so I will continue to leave tributes in each guest book until the day there is no longer the need to leave these tributes to a FALLEN HERO.

Hi, my name is Jackie Keel and I am currently serving with the Idaho Army National Guard in Boise, Idaho. I am a CW2 and a Blackhawk pilot here with A Co. 1/168th Avn. I spent almost 10yrs with the 207th Avn Regt at Ft. Richardson. I knew Chester, Jaime's co-pilot and was saddened to hear of this accident last year. As I have been preparing to deploy with my unit to Kuwait/Iraq and I just wanted to let you know that I will keep Jaime in my thoughts and do my best to continue her mission as a woman aviator for the Army Guard. Although I never met Jaime I understand what she went through to reach her goals and to do what she did. I feel a connection with her and I just wanted to let her family know that although she is gone her memory will never die, even in the hearts of those who never had to chance to meet her.

My deepest condolences to the Krausse and Campbell Families on the loss of your loved one. It is a loss I'm sure that will be felt for some time to come. I had thought that it was a miracle for the Ephrata community when all the members of the 1161st came home alive and I was there and participated in the Welcome Home and Freedom Salute for the 1161st at Camp Murray. To the family and friends
I have only just begun this journey and may not have known your loved one personally.
I extend to you my deepest condolences. No words will ever express the grief those close to this lost treasure are feeling. I can only say that I can share this grief as I too lost a loved one July 8, 2006. I will continue to pray for the safety of our soldiers and especially the family and friends of our lost hero’s. I only hope the memories will carry us through. I will continue pray that you also will believe and know that our heavenly father will not give us more than we can handle.
As always I read (and cry) through the memorials of our lost hero’s, So many people have already expressed the things I would also say. I am amazed and take comfort that so many people care. I can only thank you for the sacrifice you and especially Jaime have made to protect our country. As others have said “I am only an email away.” I would be honored if you so choose to share about this fine man.
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

Psalm 23
1
The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
2
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,
3
He restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
5
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
6
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
This is a verse that I have found to be comforting to me during my husbands death. Remember that when it seems that no one else is round, God is still there with you! And he will be your rock!
My daughter,McKaLyne, and I send our heartfelt sympathy for your loss! God Bless this warrior, God Bless those whom serve freedom's cause! They are our true HERO's!!!!

There is not much that any of us can say. Just Know that we are praying for Jamie and that your family can find peace in knowing that she was much loved. I did not know Jamie, but felt like I did as her sister is my grandsons wife. I know the family's faith will help them thru the days to come and may God be with you. God Bless Jamie.

I met Jamie through a mutual friend back in 2002 on a trip to New Orleans. Over the course of our week long adventure we became great buddies. Jamie had a way of welcoming everyone she met and her enthusiasm for life was contagious. Even though it was a brief period in time, Jamie's vivacious personality will forever be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Jamie's family.

Sam, we only met you and Jaime once at Doug and Heidi's for dinner and a "fun" card game but we want you to know how sorry we are. Jaime was a special person with the most friendly smile. We knew from just meeting you once how much you love each other. We have thought of you both often in the past 6 months and have kept you in our prayers. Our family is grateful to both of you for your sacrifice and service to our country. We can't begin to know your sorrow, but know that we are praying for your peace and comfort. Although our meeting was brief, we are thankful to call you both friends.
Jaime will always be with you. Families are forever!

I am deeply saddened by the loss of this beautiful, smart and loving wife of Sam. God needed his angel back and she is now stationed in heaven. I met her only once, and she will never be forgotten. God bless you Sam and family as friends as you struggle with your loss. My prayers are with you. (Jesse's mom)

Please accept my most heartfelt condolences on the loss of Jaime. Our quilt group, Home of the Brave, would like to make a quilt for you in Jaime's memory. We ask nothing of the families except an address to which to mail the quilt. Please contact me when you are able, and again, I am so sorry for your great loss.

1st Lt. Jaime L. Campbell (HERO) - Rest in Peace young lady.
To the family: I know firsthand there are no words of comfort right now - just know you are not alone in your grief and sorrow. May God grant you peace and strength to get through this and get to the point where a memory once again brings a smile rather than only the tears that flow so easily now. God Bless these courageous young men and women who are so selflessly giving their lives for us.

Jaime was my sister-in-law and we'll miss her so very much. She loved what she was doing - flying- and loved being the wife of Sam. She was the world to him. The world will not be the same without her.
Hold your dear ones close and dont let a day go by that you tell them how much you love them.

Psalm 23
