Jaime Jesus Navarro, 78, of Florence, a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at home on June 23, 2025, surrounded by his cherished family. Born on June 30, 1946, in Barranquilla, Colombia, Jaime lived a life marked by dedication, service, and love. Jaime enjoyed a fulfilling career as a retired airline supervisor, where he made lasting contributions to the industry and served countless travelers with kindness and commitment. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and held pride in his family as he loved being home surrounded by them. He was a very big soccer and baseball fan. His favorite music was Salsa and he loved to dance to it. His expertise and ethical standards set a remarkable example for those around him. He is survived by his devoted wife, Julia I. Beltran Navarro. Together, they nurtured a loving family that includes daughters Luz Adriana Torres (Daniel) and Lenis Andrea Heredia. Jaime’s legacy continues through his seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, who hold dear the memories of his warmth and guidance. He is also survived by his brother Victor Navarro and sisters Carmen Herrera and Beatrice Navarro, who will remember him fondly and honor his memory. Jaime was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon Navarro and Beatriz Racedo Navarro, whose influence shaped the man he became. His remarkable journey through life was marked by both personal and professional achievements, but it was the love of his family that truly defined him.A visitation will be held Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home - Chapel A, located at 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road in Taylor Mill, KY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 PM Friday, June 27, 2025, at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 25 Cavalier Blvd, Florence. Jaime Jesus Navarro's spirit will live on in the hearts of those he loved and who loved him in return. His legacy of kindness and dedication will forever remain an inspiration to all who knew him.
