Benjamin Franklin Stiltner, Jr., 82, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away on January 25, 2026.

Born on July 31, 1943, Ben was the son of the late Ruby Stiltner and Benjamin Stiltner, Sr. He proudly served his country for four years at the U.S. Naval Academy in Philadelphia as a First Aid Attendant, where he was honored with a Good Conduct Medal for his dedicated service. Thanks to his military service, Ben went on to acquire a B.A. Degree in Accounting.

Following his military service, Ben built a long and respected career with Delta Airlines, where he worked for 30 years as a customer service agent, in many different departments. Through the years, he became known for his helpful spirit, friendly demeanor, and dedication to assisting travelers and coworkers alike.

In addition to his parents, Ben was preceded in death by his first wife, Helene Stiltner; his son, Skyler Stiltner; his sister, Frances Osborne; and his brothers, Hubert (Laura) Daily, Kenneth (Darlene) Giles, John (Charlene) Stiltner, and James (Dianne) Stiltner.

Ben leaves behind his loving caregiver and the mother of his only child, Gail Hollenkamp; stepchildren, Ryan Bihl and Evan Bihl; brothers, Floyd (Shirley) Stiltner and Richard (Flo) Stiltner; numerous nieces and nephews; his devoted cousin, caregiver, and prayer warrior, Jeffrey Harney; and his lifelong friend, Charles Wolfe.

Services will be held at the family's convenience. Interment: Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, KY. Online condolences may be expressed on Facebook or at SerenityFuneralCare.com.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, Kentucky, for the compassionate care provided to Ben. Gail Hollenkamp also wishes to thank her relatives and friends for their love, prayers, and support during this very difficult time.
