Jakari Townsend Obituary
He will be fondly remembered for his love of football, fashion, and music; his infectious laughter and beautiful smile; his kind heart; and his brilliant mind.
Jakari attended the Syracuse City School District. He began high school at Bishop Grimes, later transferred to Liverpool High School, and graduated from Cicero–North Syracuse High School, Class of 2018. Most recently, he was employed at Jrek Sub's in Liverpool, NY.
Jakari is survived by his mother, Kathleen Rose; father, Anthony J, Townsend, Sr.; siblings, Anthony J. Townsend, Jr., Jerrod Hills, and Nevaeh Johnson; and paternal grandparents, Ann Marie Williams and Anthony F. Townsend (Crystal).
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 30th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Tucker Missionary Baptist Church, 515 Oakwood Ave, Syracuse. A funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Services entrusted to FARONE & SON, Inc. Funeral Home.
