OBITUARY
Jake Louis Hodges, Jr., age 54 of Monroe, passed away on May 15, 2025. He was born on May 23, 1970 to Nola Mae Harp Hodges and the late Jake Louis Hodges, Sr.
He was full of life, knowledge, humor, and love. My dad was always smiling. If someone he cared about was down, he would do whatever he could to pull them out of their slump and have them smiling too. He had fun with everything he did, whether it was work or play. He truly enjoyed life and made the best out of any situation.
Surviving are daughter: Jessica Hodges and Ty Finch; mother: Nola Hodges; grandchildren: Justin, Timberly, and Lydia.
Funeral services will be held on Monday May 19th at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Conner and the Rev. Jimmy Greer officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Christian Church Cemetery.
Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
