James "Jimmy" Murray Aaron, 77 years old, beloved Spouse and Father, was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 4, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He entered this world on March 8, 1947, born to Carrie Mae and James Aaron, in Baton Rouge, LA. He was a faithful member of Zoar Baptist Church. He graduated from Central High School in 1966 and worked at Tembec Paper Mill in St. Francisville for 42 years. Jimmy was an avid outdoorsman and golfer. He will be fondly remembered as a kind, principled man who loved his family and never met a stranger.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Stephanie Elizabeth Aaron; sons, Murray Logan Aaron of Central, LA, Adam Lee Aaron (Ali) of Central, LA; and grandchildren, Triston Lee Aaron and Cecilia Martine Aaron.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his mother and father, Carrie Mae and James William Aaron.
Serving as pallbearers will be Murray Aaron, Adam Aaron, Triston Aaron, Michael Jeffirs, Robert Jenkins, and Travis Bankston. Honorary pallbearers will be Phillip Freeman, Buddy Aaron, Dennis Duke, and Hiren Patel.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Zoar Baptist Church, 11848 Hooper Road, on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Clint Newsom and Glen Miers. The graveside service and burial will follow at Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery in Central, Louisiana. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
