Dear Nancy, We were so very sorry to hear of Albert's passing. We were out of town and didn't get back until this past weekend. Albert did so much to encourage others to get together for reunions. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered always. May you be blessed with gentle moments and sweet memories. Herb & Sara Duncan

I remember visiting Judge Pruett one time with Jimmy. I think I was wearing an Arkansas Razorback baseball cap. Jimmy told me his dad would give me grief over it, and boy was he was right...the nerve of me to wear that blasphemy into the house of a UT grad!

Dear Nancy and family,
It was with much sadness that we had heard of Al's, our dear fraternal brother, the Hon. Judge James "Al" Albert Pruett Jr.'s passing. He was a long-time, valued member of our fraternity, and a friend who will be missed.
Our heartfelt sympathy and condolences are with you and the rest of the Pruett family, as we pray for God's love, comfort, and peace for you during this difficult time.
Fraternally,
David

Dear Nancy, Jimmy, Vada and Pruett Family, we are very sorry for your loss. We got to know Judge Pruett because our daughter Monica is married to Jimmy, who is a wonderful husband and son. We really enjoy speaking with him on various occasions and we enjoyed his wit and loved his sense of humor, may Al Paw Pruett rest in peace. Mario and Maria Lorie (Destin, FL)

Al and I were members of the Clayton Library Friends Board of Directors. We had many interesting discussions regarding genealogy. He certainly will be missed. At least, he now knows
who all the ancestors were.

Dear Nancy and Al's family,
David and I were so sorry to read Al's obituary today. We had talked about him in just the past week, David remembering that they had hunted together at Leaky and up near Madisonville. Of course, David would have the hunting memories! I am eternally grateful to Al for giving me my first job at Harris County in in 1986, which led to a long and happy career. But some of my happiest days were with him at Lowry, Pruett & McCarty beginning in 1978. The years have flown.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I was a physical therapist who worked with Judge Pruett for several months at Memorial Hermann NW following his stroke. He was a hard worker and was determined to make a full recovery. Even though I have been retired for 2 1/2 years, he is one of the patients that I still remember. May God bless his family with peace and comfort.
