James Ray Anderson

James Ray Anderson (Jamie Brother) 56 of Denison, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025, after a sudden fall.

James was born on August 2, 1969, in Dallas, Texas, to Jack and Betty Anderson with sisters, Tonia and Sherri, and 10 years later, brother James Dumas.

After high school, Jamie was a meat cutter for Kroger and Wal-Mart. He later became a brick layer and then went on to becoming a car lot manager for Hoyte and Trophy Auto Malls, where he was the ultimate detailer. Jamie officially retired on June 5, 2015, after going to work in the oil fields where he had hurt his back.

Jamie married Keisha Brown on December 2, 1994. He was a hard worker, a go getter and a great stepdad to Leah and Stephen Brown. He later met Sabrina Gouge and they spent 12 years together. He loved to spend time with his many friends, listen to music, and sing. He had also followed in his dad's footsteps at being the biggest class clown you would ever meet – a big Jokester.

Jamie was preceded in death by his loving sister, Sherri Newsom; his dad, Jack Anderson; grandparents, Odes and Peggy Richerson; and grandparents, Lonnie and Jessie Anderson.

He is survived by his mom, Betty Terry; his sister, Tonia Anderson; his brother, James Dumas; his stepfather, Roger Terry; Keisha; Leah; Stephen; Sabrina; and his Big Cat, Miley.

We will miss him so much. He will be forever in our hearts.

Memorial visitation is Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Fisher Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
