James Lamont Anderson

James Anderson known as "Jimmy" to family and close friends, but out in the neighborhood he was called "Candyman.

Jimmy was born October 21, 1966, to Evelyn and George Anderson Sr.

Jimmy Graduated from B.B Russell High School and took his creative talents and joined Job Cops shortly after in Augusta, Maine, where he became a jack of all trades. If it was Broken, Jimmy could somehow fix it.

He worked construction and many forms of retail before he became disabled due to his battle with progressive vascular dementia. His battle with this illness ended on March 19, 2026, where he joined his mother, father and nephew Juwan, who was also one of his favorite video game buddies, in eternal peace.

Jimmy was a funny, open minded, strong, good-spirited man. His favorite musical genres ranged from rock & roll to country to 90s hip hop and R&B. His go-to artists were ACDC, Metallica, Eminem, and Jadakiss but he gave just about anything a chance. If he wasn't listening to music, you could always guarantee he would be found watching Nascar, Baseball, WWE, or playing his PlayStation.

Jimmy leaves to cherish his memories with his daughters Monique Anderson Viola and Shayna Anderson, their mother Tina Viola, His grandson Naesen Martin. Brothers William Napper, George Anderson, Tina Anderson, Tishia Horan, J.C. Jones, and Shirley Stroud. He also leaves behind a host of aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family who will miss him dearly.

Family and friends are all invited to join the service being held for the beloved James Anderson on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 10:00am - 12:00pm at George Lopes Funeral Home located on 647 Main Street Brockton, MA 02301
