Left to cherish his memory is his son, Charlie Atkinson (Jordan), nephews, Mark Atkinson, Jim & John Jordan nieces, Sarah Kiser Holly Bemis & Miranda Moore, brother, John Atkinson (Marla), and sister Elizabeth Jordan (Tom).
James is preceded in death by his wife Michelle Atkinson and his parents.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 30 from 10 AM – 12 PM at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in Waverly. Bro. Jeremy McFarlin will officiate the service.
Arrangements are entrusted to Luff-Bowen Funeral Home.
