I met Jim when I was a franchisee of Godfather's Pizza. My partner and I visited with Jim about a location he had available in Iowa. From that first meeting I considered Jim a friend and a mentor. A thoroughly enjoyable person that had a passion for everything he did whether it was business, flying , music, or cars. He will be missed.

Jim was a amazing man. He was a great businessman who started Little Duffer hamburger restaurants that were in Nebraska and Iowa. They became Hardees and then Burger Kings. He had a love of music especially Jazz and very accomplished piano player. His daughter Beth worked for us in Grand Island as our Controller. Sandra and Jim "Scooter" always hosted Xmas family get togethers for the Beardmores. He was a very special man who will never be forgotten.
