James Behanna Obituary

James Behanna Delmar - James Behanna passed away on April 30 at the age of 91, after a brief illness. He was born in Wellsburg, WV, in 1932, son of William and Mary Catherine (Taylor) Behanna. He served in the US Army from 1953-1955 and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maine in 1959. He worked for many years at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory in Niskayuna.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years Bette (Bailey) Behanna, sons, David (Laura), John, Thomas (Martha), granddaughters Kimberly (Timothy), Sarah (Timothy), and five great grandchildren.
Private memorial service to be scheduled by the family.

Will miss my Pop Pop and his corny jokes! haha. He had the best sense of humor! I am so happy he got to meet all of his 5 great grand children : )
He lived a wonderful long life and will forever be missed.

I have such wonderful memories. Such a great father-in-law! He took me flying for my first time, teaching me to drive a stick shift, skiing, water skiing, and many more adventures!! Will miss him !!
