James "Jim" Conrad Biser Sr. age 89, of Whitehall, Ohio passed away on October 24, 2024. Jim was born on July 6, 1935 in Austin, Ohio to the late George Biser and Leona (Lloyd) Maggard.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his step-father, Lloyd, and his siblings, Ronald Biser, Cindy Maggard, and Linda Wilson.
Jim is lovingly survived by his wife of 65 years, Virginia Biser, his children, James (Karen Perritt) Biser Jr, Joe (Carmella) Biser, and Virginia (Delman) Gaddie, his grandchildren, Shane, Dawn, Rachel, and Reece, and his great-grandchild, Gunnar.
He was interested in all forms of aviation. He became a private pilot when he was in his twenties. He loved learning about military history. He was an avid do-it-yourselfer. He was a proud member of IBEW Local 683 for 70 years.
He will be deeply missed.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Newcomer SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City, Ohio 43123 from 4pm-7pm for calling hours. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 1pm. Interment will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Garden.
