James Timothy Bolden, 31, passed away on December 23, 2023, at his home.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Wilkerson Funeral Home in his hometown of Reidsville, NC with Rev. Phillip Surrett officiating. The burial will follow the service at Reidlawn Cemetery, and the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Timmy was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and very loyal friend. He was born in Rockingham County to James Timothy Bolden Sr. and Teresa Clinton Bolden. He worked as a machine mechanic in Greensboro, NC for more than a decade and enjoyed tubing on the river with friends in his spare time. He loved being outdoors with his children, sharing his adventurous spirit and watching their confidence grow with each skinned knee and mosquito bite from playing in the woods, getting into wholesome trouble with them, and coming home muddy.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Barbara and James Webster, Mag London and James "Ikey" Bolden.
Timmy is survived by his wife of a year, Samanth Atkins Bolden; children, Serenity Grace Bolden, Heaven Rae Southern, and Aiden Odell; father, James Timothy “Tim” Bolden Sr.; mother, Teresa C. Bolden; siblings, Shannon B. Campeau (with husband Chris) and Gail Bolden Futch (with husband Matthew); nephew, Christopher Campeau II; niece, Maggie Futch; and beloved canine companion, Harley Girl Bolden as well as a large and loving group of extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (https://mymsaa.org/donate/honor-and-memorial-donations).
