EARLY SERVANT LIFE "James Sirel Bradshaw,III was born on a cool, yet calm fall day in
Boston, Massachusetts the week before Thanksgiving. A bundle of joy from the very beginning, and all throughout his life,James touched people with his calm,gentle,peaceful spirit. It was part of his DNA. James Sirel attended the Pauline Shaw School during his early education. He loved playing sports,especially football!As he played the positions of quarterback, cornerback, and running back for his local neighborhood team,he was a fierce competitor! While everyone knew his passion for the sport, James Sirel kept his focus, and won several trophies to show his skills. Just know that he had your "back" in any situation, protecting those in his circle with power. James Sirel graduated from Trade High School in Boston, learning various trade skills that would propel him into the next chapter of his life,by enlisting in the United States Army. ARMY SERVANT LIFE "James Sirel served in the army from the late 1970's to the early 1980's,being stationed in Kentucky and California. His army travels took him to various places around the world. He saw Hawaii,the Phillipines, Korea, and Alaska. During his stint in the Phillipines, he was hurt when a grenade blew up in his face, but James Sirel was blessed to recover from his injury. While in the army, a plethora of badges were bestowed upon him for his service. He received the Good Conduct Medal,the Army Service Ribbon,the Overseas Service Ribbon, and the Marksman (Rifle) He was also awarded the Purple Heart Recognition with an Honorable Discharge. A soldier-servant indeed! CHURCH SERVANT LIFE "James Sirel was baptized into the Church of God and Saints of Christ at the age of twelve. He sang in the choir in the bass section, holding it down locally and nationally.In his home tabernacle of Boston, James Sirel worked his bass even more, singing with The Harmonizing Stars for over 15 years.As his love for God and his church grew,so did his dedication. At his father Evangelist James Bradshaw's request,James Sirel was ordained a Deacon in his early 20's, faithfully serving the people of God for over 30 years in this capacity. Serious about his calling, and the assignment God had placed on his life, Deacon James Sirel Bradshaw made serving a priority, no matter where he was. He served under many mighty men of God, namely Bishop James R. Grant,Bishop Robert D. Grant, Bishop Robert H. Stallings, and Bishop C.L. Hendricks, All these men of God taught him the importance of being the eye of the church. He never slacked on his job,he worked quietly and confidently making sure everyone was safe, FAMILY MAN On September 29,1996 James and Adrienne were joined in Holy Matrimony, along with their two little protectors, Audra and Asia. Their love was mature, one that stayed strong and true for 28 years. This beautiful union brought together two people who knew that this match was definitely made in heaven, and they were meant to be together. And yes, for a total of 31 years, they made it happen. Hun, Junie,JB, June Bug,Dad Chat, and Gpaw were some of the loving names James Sirel was called by his family. Known for his work ethic too, he worked for Paul Revere Transportation in Boston for 18 years as a driver. His tenure at Paul Revere afforded him the opportunity to still serve his fellow workers by being the Shop Steward. He served in this position humbly by making sure that everyone's voice was heard. Upon moving to Pittsburgh, James Sirel secured employment with Mt. Aarat Baptist Church as a driver and for seven years, he did his job with kindess,patience and dignity. He took great care of his earthly family, as well as the family God gave him through his jobs,and his church. He was a provider and protector,making sure that we were all well cared for. He never slacked on his job,he worked quietly and confidently making sure everyone was safe, His steadfastness and faithfulness made way for his appointments of Armour Bearer. Peace and Security,and a Sargent of Ministry of Defense. In 2017, he was appointed Assistant Deacon Stephen by Bishop Robert H. Stallings, and at the 2021 Assembly in Waynesboro, he was ordained a minister of the gospel as an Elder, and Overseer of JG Pittsburgh, by Bishop C.L. Hendricks. Just know that he was about his church life! In the wee hours of a glorious Sabbath morning, at 3:01 a.m. God reached down and peacefully brought Elder James Sirel Bradshaw, III home into victory. He leaves to cherish his wonderful memory his wife of 28 years, Adrienne, two devoted twin daughters, Audra and Asia, his heartstring granddaughter, Aniya, his loving and dedicated mother SE Marguerite Bradshaw, his only sister, June Celeste, his in laws Sylvester and Barbara Barnett. Three brother in laws, Lester,Jeffrey and John, Three sister in laws, Sharon, Rochelle, and Lisa. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and beautiful godchildren from both sides of the family. This man was truly loved by his family and friends both far and near. His energy of peace and calm will never die, it just helps transform us into what God calls us to be.
