James Norman Braswell, 77, of Warner Robins, Georgia, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025. Born on January 15, 1948, in Phenix City, Alabama, James was the beloved son of the late James Grover and Lois Madeline (Martin) Braswell.

James proudly served his country in the United States Navy, a commitment that reflected his deep sense of duty and patriotism. Following his military service, he earned a master's degree and went on to enjoy a fulfilling career in budget management at Robins Air Force Base. His dedication and integrity were evident in every aspect of his professional life.

James was married to the love of his life, Lisabeth Anne Braswell (White). Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to family. Their bond was one of unwavering partnership and joy.

A man of many interests, James enjoyed playing golf and was a passionate University of Alabama football fan-Roll Tide! He was also a loyal supporter of the Warner Robins High School Demons football team. In quieter moments, James found joy in baking and was known for his delicious treats, which he took great pleasure in both creating and tasting.

James had a generous heart and lived a life of service to others. Helping those in need brought him genuine happiness. He adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and time spent with them was always precious to him.

Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife, Lisabeth; his sons, James Braswell (Aindrea) of Warner Robins, GA, and Richard Braswell of Warner Robins, GA; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. His legacy of love, kindness, and service lives on in each of them.

A memorial gathering to celebrate James's life will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory, with a fellowship to follow at the family residence.

With honor, Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory has been entrusted with the arrangements.

James will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, faithful friend, and proud American. His warmth, wit, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
