Frances Cooper Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory on Feb. 10, 2026.
Frances Ellen Hogan Cooper, 79, of Warner Robins, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home, with her beloved family at her bedside.

Frances was born in Warner Robins to the late John Hogan and the late Iva Alice Kenneway Hogan. She was a creative and spirited woman who enjoyed many hobbies and interests, including ceramics, art, and dancing. She was a proud member of the Moose Club and found simple joy in watching crime shows and cooking shows, and she had a profound love for animals. Above all else, Frances deeply loved her family and cherished the time spent with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jason; her sisters, Pam and Sharon; and her brothers, Donnie, Ricky, and Buddy.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Robert Allen Smith; her sons, Jeff Coker (Donna) and Jamie Coker Jr.; her daughters, Tammy Patrick, Kristy Ross, and Kacey Smith; her grandchildren, JW Coker (Dymond), Nate Coker, Kenneth Shurum (Shaunda), Tyler Whaley, Richard Whaley Jr., and Ashley Danneman; her great-grandchildren, Aiden Weathers, Hannah Coker, Hailey Coker, Madison Coker, Shelby Coker, Paetan Coker, Thomas Whaley, and Kynlee Shurum; and her great-great-grandchild, Kiana Weathers. She is also survived by her sisters, Teresa Burge (Louie) and Eva Roberts (John).

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you make donations to the Houston County Humane Society in her memory.

With honor, Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
