July 2, 1952 – October 25, 2025
James "Jim" Michael Brown passed away at home in Bakersfield, California on October 25, 2025.
A beloved husband and father, he is survived by his wife Shirley, his son Jeff and his stepson Joseph.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 9, 2026 at 11AM at Luigi's Warehouse, 725 East 19th Street, Bakersfield, CA, 93305.
Jim was a former Captain of the Kern County Sheriff's Mounted Posse and just 3 pints short of his goal of becoming a part of the 20-gallon club with Houchin Community Blood Bank.
In lieu of flowers, please join us in donating in his honor on January 10, 2026.

I worked with Jim many years ago. I remember him as a really good accountant, and a decent man with a great sense of humor who loved to laugh. Our condolences to his family and friends.
