James Alan Brown, Sr, passed away suddenly at the age of 79, on Sunday, February 22nd, 2026 at his home in Prospect Heights, IL. He was born on July 6th, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois to Joyce "Joe" Brown and Margaret Brown (nee Gollner). James Brown was incredibly intelligent and worked as a carpenter during his career. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, and Grandpa who always provided for his family and greatly cherished them. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Russ and Randy, and his brother-in-law, Jack Pentre.
