He is survived by his father Lester Buecksler; daughter, Tracee Underwood and her children Brody and Paiton of Pueblo, Colorado; son, Kris (Renee) Buecksler and Jace Buecksler, Travis (Jessica) Olson, Heidi (Issac) Schuller of Owatonna; stepchildren, Sara (Eric) Sletten and their children, Easton, Savana and Brennan of Owatonna. Todd (Heidi) Kraft and their children, Kaiyanna, Dominick, Chase and Aaliyah of Owatonna; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Georgia, Gracie, Evan, Ethan, Kyrie and Lincoln; brother, Gerald "Jerry" (Valerie) Buecksler.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Ruth, and mother Jean Buecksler.
A memorial visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Victory Church (1380 Rice Lake Road, Owatonna).
