James "Jimmy" Conley Bussard

June 30, 1948 to October 13, 2025

James Conley Bussard, 77, Pattonsburg, MO passed away Monday October 13, 2025 at a St. Mary's Medical Center in Blue Springs MO.

He was born on June 30, 1948, in Mulhall, Oklahoma the son of Felix Eugene and Glenda Roselle Conley.

On November 3, 1997 he married Valorie Kay Wormsley in Liberty, Missouri. There are no survivors of the home.

James attended Ruskin Heights High School in Kansas City, Missouri prior to serving in the U.S. Navy from 1967 to 1970. He served during the Vietnam war and was stationed on the USS Enterprise. James began his Railroad career with the Missouri Pacific Railroad as an Electrician Apprentice going on to work as an electrician for numerous years and was promoted to Foreman in the late 1980's. James retired from the Union Pacific Railroad on November 30, 2008. He cared deeply for his family with an emphasis on his grand and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and a brother, Ron Bussard.

James is survived by his sons, Chris (Miche'le) Bussard, Justin (Desirae) Bussard, Kenneth (DeAnna) Dinwiddie, Kevin (Tina) Dinwiddie; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers Rudy (Cathy) Bussard, and Joe (Vicki) Bussard.

James has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Pattonsburg, Missouri. Memorials may be made to the Evergreen Cemetery of Braymer in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 152, Pattonsburg, MO 64670. The Family will hold a Memorial Service at 12:00 p.m., Sunday, November 2nd at 1100 Bush Dr, Grain Valley, Missouri 64029.
