James Carlucci Obituary
VERBANK – James P. Carlucci, 63, passed away peacefully on November 14th, 2022 at Livingston Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A longtime area resident, he previously lived in the Bronx.
James was born in the Bronx on December 14, 1958. He was the son of the late Frank and Barbara (Burke) Carlucci. He was employed as an electrician at Indian Point Energy Center in Buchanan for over 28 years.
James touched the lives of his family and many friends through his warm and kind nature and through his sarcastic sense of humor. He dedicated his life to his family through his expertise as an electrician, carpenter, and architect. James designed and built many houses. This included a beautiful home in Clinton Corners that he built with his son Michael. The Carlucci family lived in this house for over 15 years and made countless loving memories. James was also an avid skier and biker. He successfully completed two bike rides between New York and Canada.
He married Wendy (Mowbray) Carlucci on September 23, 1989 in Buchanan who survives after 33 years of marriage. He is also survived by his twin children, Ashley and Michael Carlucci; his siblings, Leah Carlucci, Billy Carlucci, and Frank Carlucci, Jr.; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Dolores Mowbray; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Lisa Bates, Sharon and Mitchell Carter, and James and Karen Mowbray; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Friday November 18th from 3 – 7 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
