FLEMINGSBURG — James Leroy Carr, 82, of May's Lick, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025, at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home in Flemingsburg. He was the widower of Jeannie McGuire Carr.
Born in Middletown, Ohio, on July 24, 1943, James was the son of the late Charles Carr and the late Pauline Reed Carr.
James worked at AK Steel for 30 years. He was a member of the First Church of God in Middletown and was a 32nd Degree Mason with the Middletown Lodge.
He is survived by his son, Brian (wife Tina) Carr; and his three grandchildren, Jeffrey Carr, Logan Carr, and Lexus (Monica) Carr.
James will have a private graveside service in Woodside Cemetery in Middletown.
