Mr. James Wilson Carter, 62, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025. He was born in Union County, New Jersey on October 19, 1962 to the late Leonard Lee Carter and Lonnie May Hall Carter. James enjoyed going hunting, but most importantly he loved his family and spending time with his granddaughters.
James is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Brown Carter; children, Kayla Carter (Michael Liverman) and Bradley Carter (Emily Wiles); grandchildren, Taylin Liverman, Addisyn Liverman, Bali Liverman, Macie Carter, Aubrey Carter, Everly Carter, and Avery Carter; siblings, Sheila (Ronald) Goins, Sharon Greene (Tim Dorsett), Rosa (Gary) Justice, and Leonard Carter; and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service for James will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Gentry Family Chapel of Jonesville. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service of Jonesville.
