James O. Center

James O. Center, age 93, of Venus, Texas. Passed away on Friday January 30th, 2026. He was born on July 28th, 1932 in Winslow, Arkansas to Claude and Ica (Robinson) Center. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 46 years, Estelle Garvin Center. A son Robert (Bobby) Megallan and a great grandson Brandon Coe. As well as a second wife of 7 years Edna Faye Reed Center and a grandson Dain Shane Houts. He served in the United States Army for 3 years. After serving in the Army, he moved to California where he met his first wife Estelle. The family then moved to the Dallas Fort Worth area in1962 and made Texas their home. He is survived by 4 daughters, Teresa Fowler of Venus, Texas, Roxy Bennett of Venus, Texas, Susan Faye Center Delugo of Springdale, Arkansas, and Terry Gass of Colorado Springs, Colorado. As well as 2 sons, Timothy Center of Fort Worth, Texas, and Ken Center of Fayetteville, Arkansas.

He's also survived by his 37 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm, Friday February 20, 2026 at Moore's Chapel, Fayetteville, Arkansas. With a burial service to follow in Parks Cemetery, Winslow, Arkansas.
