James T. Chletsos

James T. Chletsos, age 51 of Vernon, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 18th, 2023, at the Morristown Memorial Hospital with his family by his side.
Born in Belmar to Phyllis (Carroll) and the late Theodore Chletsos, James later moved and grew up in Lake Parsippany and lived in various places before settling in Vernon with his wife Dianne, ten years ago. A graduate of Salisbury University, James worked as an insurance claims specialist for Zurich Insurance Group in Parsippany.
James was an avid fisherman, enjoying both fresh and deepwater fishing. He loved to golf and was a devoted Giants, Yankees, and Rangers fan. He enjoyed spending time at his parents' home at the shore as well as North Hero Island on Lake Champlain in Vermont. Above all, he was a loving and dedicated husband and father.
Predeceased by his father, James is survived by his wife, Dianne (Rizzuto) Chletsos; triplet sons James Jr., Christian, and Liam Chletsos; brothers Greg and his wife Annmarie Chletsos and Peter Chletsos and his wife Cheryl Davis; and his mother, Phyllis Chletsos; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A visitation for James will be held on Sunday, April 23rd, 2023, 2-6PM at the Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home (One Vanderhoof Court for GPS) 241 Route 94, Vernon, NJ 07462. A funeral service will begin at 5:30PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Memorial Education Fund for James's sons (information will be updated shortly).
