James Edward St. Cin, age 76, of Charleston, died Sunday, November 27, 2022, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born September 21, 1946, at East Prairie, MO, to the late Earl Sylvester St. Cin and Delia Golightly St. Cin, he spent most of his life in Michigan before moving to Charleston. James was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Tecomseh Products after ten years of services and then later was employed with Napa Auto Parts for 10 years. He loved to travel, ride his motorcycle and was a talented guitar player. He was always surrounded by his grandchildren and had helped raise several of them. James was always there for everyone.
He was married to Patricia Ann Montgomery who preceded him in death.
Surviving is his fiancé of 10 years, Deborah Glidewell Nunley; his children, Deborah St. Cin (William Scott), James, Jr, (Candy Kinnamon), Cheryl St. Cin, and Kassie St. Cin (Josh Jenkins); his stepchildren, Mike DeClercq, Georgina DeClercg, Jennifer Johnston, Jessica Nunley, Lauren (Jordan) McKinley; a number of grandchildren Deanna, Josh, Abby, Isaiah, Kodie, Austin, Kamden, Emma, Olivia, Liam, Jaxon, Louis and Julian; great grandchildren, Taylor, Laurann, Anthony, Alexandria, Avery, Aiden and Elayna, and one great great grandchild; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
James was one of twelve siblings. The surviving ten are Jeannie Sue, Lloyd, George, Dallas, Rita, Cathy, Ann, Melford, Warren and Sherri.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Maurice St. Cin in 1958.
Services will be held a later date.
